Floor Busters -Tile Removal Ocala
Ocala is a small city at the imaginary line of the state where
Central eases into North. The name comes from the
Timucuan Indian word Ocali, which is thought to mean big
hammock, in reference to the large number of oak trees in
the area.
In 1846, Ocala became the seat of Marion County, and ten
years later was one of the leading social and business
centers of Florida. The civil war all but destroyed the city,
however, and the population fell to 200 people. By the late
1800s, the town was on the comeback, firmly re-established,
with a growing population and thriving businesses.
Today the area around Ocala is known as horse-country,
with lovely green hills, white fences outlining pastures, and sprawling estate
homes. Venture off onto the smaller roads and highways, and you’ll come across
picturesque towns with unusual names like “Micanopy,” where you can find
anything from antiques to citrus.
Probably the biggest tourist draw to Ocala is Silver Springs State Park. Here
visitors can get up close and personal to the beauty of one of Florida’s spring-fed
waterways and its magnificent ecosystem. Kayaking and canoeing are popular
activities, as well as glass-bottom boat tours. For the equestrians, there’s a horse
trail that runs along the river in the wetlands.
Floor Busters is pleased to be a part of this community that is so rich in
history, culture, and natural beauty. We are here to serve you. No location is too
far or inconvenient. We are happy to take care of you, whether your project is a
modest one in Micanopy or a grand-scale one in an equestrian estate home.
We will bring our state-of-the-art tile-removal equipment, including our
industrial Hepa-filtered dust-collection vacuums, to remove any tile surface. We
can remove up to 1,000 square feet of tile per day. The removal process is a
healthy one. We will maintain your indoor air quality and keep it at healthy levels
during the project. And after the project, there won’t be any fine layers of dust or
particles as evidence that we were there. All surfaces will be virtually
environmentally dust-free!
